About Rising Star Crystals
What is Rising Star Crystals?
Rising Star Crystals is a crystal shop founded by a working astrologer. It began as a small boutique and now ships to all 50 states. Every crystal is chosen through astrology, sign by sign and season by season. Each zodiac season, The Rising Star Forecast reads the sky for all twelve rising signs with one crystal chosen for each, and every Sunday our letter, The Sunday Sky, brings the week ahead. Our tagline says it simply: crystals for every rising sign.
Is Rising Star Crystals run by a real astrologer?
Yes. Our founder, Christine Alexander, is a practicing Evolutionary Astrologer who keeps a book of astrology clients and students and runs a year-long apprentice program. She leads the crystal choices and writes The Rising Star Forecast each season and The Sunday Sky each week.
Do you make predictions?
No. Our astrology is non-predictive. We describe the themes of the coming weeks and always encourage you to do your own exploration.
What is The Rising Star Forecast?
Each zodiac season, The Rising Star Forecast reads the sky for all twelve rising signs: what the season may ask of you, a journal prompt, and one crystal chosen for your sign, with a few pieces to choose from. Your crystal stays the same for the whole season, so there's no deadline and no need for a new stone every week. We also share it live on Whatnot, turning each sign's crystal in the sunlight. The order changes every week, led by the biggest transits, so stay for your sun, your moon and your rising. Pieces shown on the live can be purchased during the show.
What is The Sunday Sky?
The Sunday Sky is our letter every Sunday morning: a note on the week's sky, the week ahead for each rising sign, and the crystals chosen for your season. You can join at the bottom of any page.

What is a rising sign?
Your rising sign, also called your ascendant, is the zodiac sign that was dawning on the eastern horizon at the exact moment and place you were born. It shapes how you meet the world and where each season's astrology lands in your everyday life.
Do I need to know my rising sign to shop?
No. Every crystal works for anyone, and you can shop by stone, shape or intention. If you'd like to know your rising sign, you'll need your birth date, time and place, and our free rising sign calculator will find it in about a minute.
How do I find crystals for my rising sign?
Open Rising Signs in the menu and choose your sign. Each collection explains why those stones were chosen for that rising sign. Each zodiac season, The Rising Star Forecast shares a reading for every rising sign, and this season's crystals gathers the stone chosen for each sign for the whole season.
Our crystals
Are Rising Star crystals real?
Yes. Every crystal is natural stone, named exactly, and any treatment such as dyeing or heat-treating is disclosed in the listing. Read more on our Sourcing & Quality page.
Where do your crystals come from?
We primarily source our crystals from Madagascar, Peru and Brazil, with a few treasures from right here in the US, including blue opal from the Owyhee region of Oregon. Every supplier is chosen for integrity in how the pieces are produced and real quality in the stones themselves. Many of our bracelets are made in China, by makers chosen after a long search. Where a stone's origin is known, it is listed in the details.
Do crystals heal?
Crystals are tools for intention, reflection and beauty. We never claim they heal, cure or treat anything. We choose them because they are beautiful, because they help us pause, and because holding one is a lovely way to set an intention for the season ahead.
Why does my crystal look slightly different from the photo?
Natural stones vary. Color, pattern and inclusions differ from piece to piece, which is part of what makes each one yours. When a piece is one of a kind, the listing says so and you receive the exact crystal pictured.

How durable are your bracelets?
Our bracelets are tested by our team and made to last. Taking them off before water, sleep and workouts, and rolling them on rather than stretching them, keeps the cord strong for years.
Is there a discount for buying more than one bracelet?
Yes. Mix and match any 3 bracelets and save 20%. The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
How should I care for my crystals?
Keep amethyst, rose quartz and citrine out of strong sun, which can fade them. Keep selenite dry. Store softer stones like selenite, lepidolite and angelite apart from harder ones, and clean everything with a soft, dry cloth.

Do you ship to all 50 states?
Yes. We ship to all 50 states. We don't ship outside the United States yet.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. Orders of $75 or more ship free anywhere in the United States. Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout.
How long does shipping take, and can I return a piece?
Orders ship within 3 business days. You can return unworn pieces within 14 days, and if anything arrives damaged, let us know within 7 days. Full details are on our Shipping & Returns page.
