We took a long time finding the right crystals for this shop, and we'd like you to know exactly what you're getting.
Where do Rising Star crystals come from?
We primarily source our crystals from Madagascar, Peru and Brazil, with a few treasures from right here in the US, including our blue opal from the Owyhee region of Oregon.
Every supplier is chosen for two things: integrity in how the pieces are produced, and real quality in the stones themselves. Many of our bracelets are made in China. We won't hide that, because we're proud of the makers we found. It took a long time to find people whose work we trust, and we turned down far more suppliers than we kept.
Are the bracelets durable?
They're made to last. Our team tests each bracelet style for strength and quality-checks every stone before it ships, and we wear ours nearly every day. To keep a bracelet beautiful for years, take it off before swimming, showering, sleeping and workouts, and roll it on and off your wrist rather than stretching it.
How do I know what I'm buying?
- Every stone is named exactly. Labradorite is labradorite. No vague blends or made-up trade names.
- Our citrine is natural. We never sell heat-treated citrine, and if any stone has ever been treated or dyed, the listing says so.
- Origins are listed when known. Where we know where a stone was mined, you'll find it in the details.
- Sizes and weights are listed. So you know how a piece will feel in your hand.
- One-of-a-kind pieces are marked. Natural stones vary in color and pattern, so when a piece is the only one, the listing says so.
How should I care for my crystals?
- Keep sensitive stones out of strong sun. Amethyst, rose quartz and citrine can fade with long exposure to direct sunlight. A moment in the light is lovely; a summer on the windowsill is not.
- Keep selenite dry. Selenite is soft and can dissolve or lose its sheen in water. Dust it with a soft cloth instead.
- Store soft stones apart. Selenite, lepidolite and angelite scratch more easily than quartz, so give them their own pouch or shelf.
- Clean gently. A soft, dry cloth is all most stones need.
Our promise
We speak about crystals in the language of intention, never medicine. We don't claim any stone heals, cures or treats anything, and you won't find those claims anywhere in this shop. What we can promise is that every piece was chosen by an astrologer, checked by hand, and described honestly.
Questions people ask
Are Rising Star crystals real?
Yes. Every crystal is natural stone, named exactly. Our citrine is never heat-treated, and if any stone has been treated or dyed, the listing says so.
How do I keep my bracelet strong?
Our bracelets are tested by our team and made to last. Taking them off before water, sleep and workouts, and rolling them on rather than stretching them, keeps the cord strong for years.
Why does my crystal look slightly different from the photo?
Natural stones vary. Color, pattern and inclusions differ from piece to piece, which is part of what makes each one yours.
